Museums come in all shapes, sizes, and forms, but they all need certain kinds of interior space.
They need;
- galleries for displaying objects
- offices for the museum staff
- storage spaces for the parts of the collection not on display
- big public spaces where people can watch films and listen to lectures
- smaller classroom and workshop spaces where people can meet in small groups and make things
- restaurants, restrooms, and gift shops
To see what some of these spaces look like at the BMA, ROLL OVER and CLICK the floorplan to your left.
